Lift Modernisation at London Law Firm
Cibes Lift Group company Titan Elevators were assigned a lift modernisation project in a top City of London Legal Firm. The project is now completed and the new Cibes A5000 platform lift provides easy flor-to-floor access for visitors and staff in the reception area.
Telephone House is a 4-storey, Grade II listed corporate building is located in Temple, London. The beautiful old building is home to the London office of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, a prestigious law firm, who needed to replace their old platform lift with a new one. Following contact in February 2021 with Gerald Honey Partnership, Titan Elevators were commissioned to remove and replace the firm’s old platform lift, which had certain performance issues.

The lift recommended for Telephone House was a ground to second floor, Part M, fully compliant Cibes A5000 platform lift, fully enclosed inside a masonry shaft. Centrally located in the reception area, the lift provides easy floor-to-floor access for visitors and staff, and the lift is wheelchair friendly, which makes it perfect for people with limited mobility.
Titan Elevators were successfully awarded the contract to install a new Cibes A5000 platform lift, making it the first platform lift that they have installed since the acquisition of the company by Cibes Lift Group. Titan Elevators’ lift engineers began the installation work in the middle of July 2021. Within seven working days, the installation of the new lift was completed, on time and in full service, following the mandatory lift safety testing requirements.
Titan Elevators were complemented on their overall performance, by Telephone House’s property managers and Gerald Honey, who reported that they were very happy with the lift company’s performance and services, from quotation stage to commission testing. The lift is now successfully serving the daily needs of people who work and visit this premier international law firm.
